Terrible Church Singer
Heard this on Niagara radio station 97.7 this morning. They couldn't stop laughing. I had 2 thoughts.
1) Exodus 35:10 “All who are skilled among you are to come and make everything the Lord has commanded..." We're suppose to stick with what we're good at.
2) Eph. 4:29 ...but only (speak) what is helpful for building others up... Or as Thumper's mom says: If you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything. Someone interpreted that as "You did great! Here have the mic again this Sunday" That would be lying. He didn't do great.
We need to find out what we're good at and then work really hard and being great at it. This guy looks like he loves to be loved by the audience and he should feel like that, but for something that he did well not for a disingenuous reaction to a horrible singing performance. Everyone should be loved, but we also shouldn't be afraid to give honest feedback when it's called for and to not put people out in front that are clearly not performers. How can anyone worship when it's this distracting?
The DJ's said the prayers for the rest of the service would go unanswered because God left the room.
